PROFESSOR ENRIQUE DE LA RICA
Enrique de la Rica has a Bachelor degree in Information Science from the University of the Basque Country (Bilbao, Spain), where he studied the Ph.D. courses in Communication Studies. Enrique got a MBA (Master in Business Administration) from ESEUNE Business School (Bilbao, Spain). He has done postgraduate courses and specialization in different institutions, such as the Executive Business Program at Georgetown University(Washington DC, USA) and the Course of Business Competitiveness and Regional Development (CCEDR) designed by Professor Michael E. Porter at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, Harvard University.
He is currently Dean of ESEUNE Business School where he is Professor of Innovation, Strategy, IT and E-Business and Marketing. He has been member of the e-Commerce Advisory Committee of University of California at Berkeley (USA), Director of Technology and Management Group of the Knowledge Cluster and Member of the jury of the awards Buber Euskadi (Internet companies) and Digital Company (Internet companies).
Professor de la Rica is one of the most experienced Spanish in the application of new technologies to business management (Internet, e-business, innovation, etc..) Is the author of several publications on the subjects. He is Visiting Professor of the major Universities and Business Schools in Spain. Institutions like, Caixanova Business School, Business School CAI Zaragoza, MBA Business School, ESIC, Deusto University, Basque Country University, Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, etc. He is also visiting professor of international institutions in the United States (Foreing Service Institute (Arlington, Virginia), Georgetown University (Washington DC), Venezuela (Universidad Metropolitana (Caracas), Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas), Fundacite (Puerto Ordaz), CODET (Leeds), Peru (Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (Lima), Common Peru (Lima), SENATI (Lima), Cuba (Havana University), France (CEEFI (Center for Economic Studies Franco Iberian), Argentina (National University of Central Buenos Aires Province UNICEM, Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia in Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), National University of Patagonia in Comodoro, IDES (Trelew), Institute for Enterprise Development Bonaerense), Ecuador (Business Training Center CEFE (Guayaquil and Quito), China (North China University of Technology (NCUT)), Portugal (NCG Business School in Porto) He is invited as a speaker at major international conferences related to their subjects. He has taught since 1992, 95 conferences worldwide, 187 Seminars and more More 3,500 hours of training in the areas of Marketing, Technology and Innovation in MBA programs-. He combines his teaching with consultancy, having developed projects for all types of companies, public and private, in the areas of marketing, strategy, e-business and innovation.
